Hi, I'm Maryam
UX Writer. Content Marketer. Communications Manager. Product Marketer. UX Writer.
I’ve been in several varying positions where I shape the voice and messaging of products to help brands connect with users and drive desired actions.
With a deep understanding of user behavior, I specialize in creating high-converting website copies, onboarding flows, and product messaging that not only inform but guide users through seamless experiences.
I have worked majorly in startups and scaleups and worn multiple hats including creating GTM strategies, product launch plans, content strategies, and social media strategies for B2Bs across multiple industries.
I want to work where I can leverage my skills in content strategy, UX writing, and cross-functional collaboration to contribute to building intuitive products that solve real user problems.
Our Project
Here are the UX writing projects I led and contributed to during my product marketing and content marketing roles. Pictures for UX writing projects that involve in-app copies are not available due to legal technicalities, but I will still walk you through my process.
NarrativeBI
UX Writing | Microcopy
Figma, GA4, Hotjar
Narrative BI, a generative business intelligence platform, needed to improve its homepage and sign-up process to increase user registrations. The goal was to create clear, compelling copy that would guide users from the homepage through to account creation, emphasizing the platform's value proposition at each step.
GoRamp
UX Writing | Copywriting
Webflow, Miro, GA4, Ahrefs
GoRamp's existing product pages were underperforming, with high bounce rates and low conversion to demo requests. The page failed to effectively communicate the product's value proposition and key features to potential customers in the logistics and supply chain industry.
OysterHR
UX Writing | Microcopy
Miro, Figma
This was a 6-month (on-call basis) role as a UX writer. OysterHR, a global employment platform, needed consistent, clear, and compelling microcopy across their website and web application. The goal was to effectively communicate complex global employment solutions to potential clients and users, while maintaining a unified brand voice.
